River Darwen looking upstream
River Darwen looking downstream
The superbly rebuilt footbridge at the bottom of Carver Brow
Spring evening along the river bank
Tracey crossing a stile
She managed it and strides on into the woods
This used to be red rocks
A somewhat redundant stile
Heading towards Roach Bridge
The weir by the old paper mill
The River Darwen is now a lovely River, a few years ago it was just a polluted mess.
Bluebells in the woods off Roach Road
Crossing an old footbridge heading back home
The path seems to be heading up this tree !!!!
And another footbridge in a wooded glade
Tracey ponits the way
From here it's just a 5 minute stroll back home
